Taruna Kanani is the Co-Founder and President of KB Tax Devisers CPAs, an Inc. 5000-recognized strategic tax and advisory firm serving successful entrepreneurs, business owners, and high-income individuals.
Taruna believes that a strong tax strategy is only as valuable as the way it is carried out. A plan that looks impressive on paper means very little if it is never implemented correctly, documented carefully, or revisited as a client’s life and business change.
Her focus is on making sure every engagement turns into real, measurable results. She asks the questions that determine whether a strategy will hold up over time: Is it properly structured? Is it fully documented and defensible? Does it still fit as the business grows, the portfolio expands, or the goals shift? That discipline has helped the firm deliver more than $91 million in cumulative client savings without a single client audit since 2017.
As a real estate investor herself, Taruna understands the decisions her clients face from the inside. Together with Minal, she owns more than 800 multifamily doors, which gives her a practical, owner’s view of cash flow, depreciation, financing, and long-term portfolio planning.
